WHEREAS, the City of Stillwater regularly hosts events and activities which have the potential to attract an influx of 40,000 or more visitors... SECTION ONE: A state of emergency exists within the corporate limits of the City of Stillwater, Payne County, Oklahoma. SECTION TWO: Residents and visitors of the City of Stillwater are hereby advised that should you require medical attention from SMC there may be limited patient resources... including that there may be a temporary \u0027diversion\u0027 status in place that may result in diverting patients to other hospitals including out-of-state hospitals. SECTION THREE: Pursuant to Resolution No. CC 2021-24, the City Council strongly encourages Stillwater residents to follow the most recent CDC guidance... SECTION FOUR: This proclamation shall become effective on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 8:00 AM CDST.
