Operative words
In light of the public health emergency declared by the Secretary of Health and Human Services on January 31, 2020, as a result of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and the determination by the World Health Organization on March 11, 2020 that the global COVID-19 outbreak constitutes a pandemic, DEA will grant an exception to those provisions of 21 CFR 1305.13 that require the purchaser to submit the original DEA Form 222 to the supplier.
