Operative words

The CR extended the authority for P-EBT through Fiscal Year (FY) 2021, and also authorized P-EBT for households with at least one child enrolled in a covered child care facility... and... households with children whose schools reduce the number of days or hours that students attend school for at least five consecutive days during a public health emergency

Enforcement

SNAP program integrity under 7 U.S.C. 2020; 7 C.F.R. part 284

Notes

The federal benefit keyed expressly to school and child-care closures and reduced attendance; USDA's own regulatory recital that such closures and reductions continued into school years 2020-21 and 2021-22.
