Operative words
Pursuant to the Governor's Executive Orders N-40-20 and N-75-20, during the State of [Emergency, the Director of the Department of Consumer Affairs may, for] licensing agencies within the Department, waive any statutory or regulatory continuing education requirements pertaining to individuals licensed pursuant to Division 3 of the Business and Professions Code (the Code). Accordingly, for individuals whose licenses expire between August 30, 2020, and October 31, 2020, the Director temporarily waives any statutory or regulatory requirement that an individual renewing a license pursuant to Division 3 of the Code complete, or [demonstrate compliance with, any continuing education].... Licensees must satisfy any waived continuing education requirements within six months of this order.
