Operative words
"Safe" or "safety" as applied to any employment or place of employment shall include conditions and methods of sanitation and hygiene reasonably necessary for the protection of the life, health, safety, and welfare of employees or the public.

Defines the 11-2-117 duty so that a safe place of employment includes the conditions and methods of sanitation and hygiene reasonably necessary to protect employees or the public, and defines the employers bound (every person having control or custody of any employment, place of employment or employee, other than exclusively farming operations and employers of fewer than five persons).
