Operative words
all rules, restrictions, and limitations issued by the Department of Labor Standards, Department of Public Health... including COVID-19 workplace safety rules, shall likewise be rescinded and have no further effect. Public Health Orders... issued by the Commissioner of Public Health acting on her authority pursuant to section 2A of chapter 17 of the General Laws are not withdrawn or rescinded
Penalty
What it required
Fixes the end of the Civil Defense Act layer (12:01 a.m. May 29, 2021 for the workplace safety rules; 12:01 a.m. June 15, 2021 for the state of emergency) and preserves the DPH orders under G.L. c. 17, s. 2A, which the May 28, 2021 declaration (DUT-MA-028) carried into the third quarter of 2021.
Retrieval noteAfter May 29, 2021 the standing duties (G.L. c. 111; c. 149, ss. 6, 113; 29 U.S.C. 654; 105 CMR 300.000 and 590.000) and the DPH orders were the compulsion in force for the third quarter of 2021.
