Operative words

4. (a) [Every] Within thirty days after the commissioner publishes the model general standard and the model standard relevant to the industry, each employer shall establish an airborne infectious disease exposure prevention plan

What it required

Fixed the HERO Act's operative calendar: § 218-b effective July 4, 2021; every employer's plan due within thirty days after the Department of Labor published the model standards (July 6, 2021), that is by August 5, 2021; written distribution to existing employees within sixty days; § 27-d effective November 1, 2021.
