What it required

Every employer must furnish a workplace free from recognized hazards likely to cause death or serious physical harm and must comply with promulgated standards; the federal model that South Carolina's § 41-15-80 and Reg. 71-112 reproduce, and the duty that governs employers in South Carolina under federal jurisdiction (maritime, federal enclaves, federal agencies).

Retrieval note

Saved for this State's folder because no DUT-FED exhibit exists in the index; Federal OSHA's COVID-19 guidance is 'federal guidance if referenced by state entities' under Act No. 99 § 3(5), and SC OSHA's page references it throughout (Ex. DUT-SC-010).
