What it required
Recorded as a recommendation: the Department of Health's checklist told organizations to update emergency operations plans, 'identify space that can be used to separate sick people,' plan to 'postpone or cancel events, programs, and services,' provide 'COVID-19 prevention supplies,' adopt 'flexible attendance and sick-leave policies,' and isolate and send home anyone who became sick; these are the measures the Service calls voluntary, stated by the State health authority as the expected conduct of every organization.
Retrieval noteThe checklist references the Department's 'South Dakota Community Mitigation Guidance,' which was not located in the Internet Archive's index of covid.sd.gov during this session.
