Operative words

'Section 1. Beginning on March 17, 2020, all public and private schools in Illinois serving pre-kindergarten through 12th grade students must close for educational purposes through March 30, 2020. This requirement does not affect the availability of school buildings for the provision of food or other non-educational services, nor does it affect the availability of school buildings to serve as [emergency child care or polling places].'
