Citation shall be a last resort to obtain compliance. This Order shall expire on September 15, 2020 unless otherwise rescinded or extended.'
Enforcement
Simple misdemeanor under Iowa City Code § 8-1-2 (fine of $105 to $855 under Iowa Code § 903.1(1)(a) as amended July 1, 2020; pin not verified)
Notes
The first Iowa mayoral mask order of general application after Muscatine's; the Governor's office said local mandates were not enforceable, and the order recites that it is 'consistent with the Governor's proclamation.'
