Operative words
Paragraphs 36(b) and 23(b) of Executive Orders 20-26 & 20-28, respectively, both of which pertain to local declarations of emergency and provide that '[n]o local unit of government and/or political subdivision may restrict travel within their jurisdiction above a Travel Watch status,' are hereby terminated and rescinded for the period from and after the effective date of this Executive Order 20-29.
Enforcement
Removes the sole State limit on local travel restrictions and curfews
Notes
Issued the weekend of the Indianapolis civil-unrest curfews; it confirms that Indiana left local governments free to impose travel restrictions and curfews above Travel Watch status from May 31, 2020 (Marion County curfews in MET-IND).
