Operative words
Effective immediately, if you meet any one of the following circumstances, then you are hereby ordered to self-quarantine for 14 days from the date you returned from your travel or the day of your last contact with a case of COVID-19: 1. Traveled within the United States to any of the states and locations with known widespread community transmission as listed by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. 2. Traveled internationally to the locations specified by KDHE... 3. Traveled on a cruise ship or river cruise on or after March 15. 4. Received notification from Public Health officials (state or local) that you are a close contact of a laboratory-confirmed case of COVID-19.... Those who are under home quarantine should not leave their home unless to satisfy critical needs like acquiring food and other essential items. They should not attend school, work or any other setting where they are not able to maintain a 6-foot distance from other people.
