Operative words
Indoor gatherings are limited to a maximum of 10 people. Outdoor gatherings are limited to a maximum of 25 people. These limits may be adjusted from time to time based on developments in the public health data. Such adjustments may be published as appendices to this Order.... [Appendix, Mar. 18, 2021, per the Commonwealth's index: gatherings at private residences 10 indoors / 25 outdoors; gatherings at event venues and in public settings 100 indoors / 150 outdoors.]
Enforcement
Civil fine up to $500 per violation under St. 1950, c. 639, s. 8, assessed on the organizer, host or property owner; 'Each person over the permissible gathering limitation in Section 3 and each individual instance of non-compliance... may be treated as a separate violation'; administered under G.L. c. 40, s. 21D; injunction; ABCC license suspension
