Operative words
Effective as of 12:01 a.m., March 25, 2020, and continuing through 11:59 p.m. on April 3, 2020... (A) All individuals currently living within Fort Bend County are ordered to Stay Home... (B) All public or private gatherings of any number of people occurring outside a single household or living unit are prohibited... (C) All businesses operating within Fort Bend County, except Essential Businesses as defined in below in SECTION 4, are required to cease all activities at facilities located within the [County]... (D) Access to Fort Bend County offices and facilities shall be limited as to the public for essential functions only... (F) Religious and worship services may only be provided by video and teleconference... failure to comply with this Order is an offense punishable by a fine of up to $1,000 or confinement in jail for a term of up to 180 days.
