Operative words
Beginning August 1, the Pennsylvania Department of Health will resume COVID-19 related services for residents of Delaware County. These services include case investigation and surveillance, data reporting, testing and vaccination oversight, public health communications, official guidance (e.g., masking, social distancing) and assistance to residents who have questions and concerns relating to COVID-19. For the past 16 months, the Chester County Health Department has provided these COVID-19 related services and guidance for residents of Delaware County. This temporary intergovernmental cooperation agreement between Delaware County and Chester County Health Department--which started in March 2020... will end on August 1.
