Operative words
Some Port Authority bus routes continue to operate on reduced service schedules. Riders are required to wear masks while on board. Front-door boarding and regular fare collection have resumed. Passenger capacity limits remain in place. If you are unable to maintain social distancing, do not board. Instead, wait for the next vehicle.... Face coverings are now required to be worn in all public spaces where social distancing cannot be maintained, including while waiting for or riding in a public transit vehicle.... Port Authority employees are required to wear a face covering while inside any and all Port Authority facilities or operating locations
