Operative words
the South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) is requiring face coverings to be worn on school buses and within public school facilities... Students and staff in South Carolina public schools must wear a face covering upon entering a school building, moving through hallways, during carpool/bus drop off or pickup, and when social distancing is not possible or optimal.... Staff members, including bus drivers, are required to wear face coverings while boarding, riding, driving, and exiting school buses.
