Operative words

The moratorium on jury trials, as outlined in the Fifth Judicial Circuit Administrative Order dated March 16, 2020 is hereby amended to permit any judge in this circuit to schedule and conduct a jury trial involving any type of proceeding if in the discretion of that judge the trial may be conducted in a manner consistent with the then existing Centers for Disease Control guidelines related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
