Operative words

All dental, medical, or surgical procedures shall be postponed until further notice, subject to the following exceptions: Dental, medical, or surgical procedures necessary to treat an emergency medical condition... Dental, medical, or surgical procedures necessary to avoid serious harm from an underlying condition or disease, or necessary as part of a patient's ongoing and active treatment (ACS tracker quotation of the Mar. 27-28 order). Apr. 28 order: Effective April 30, 2020, at 5:00 P.M., dental, medical, or surgical procedures may proceed unless the State Health Officer or his designee determines that performing such procedures... would unacceptably reduce access to personal protective equipment.
