guidance; Dental Board standard-of-care; county health officer orders made screening and masking mandatory
Notes
California had no statewide dental-closure order: EO N-33-20 (Mar. 19, 2020) and county health officer orders confined the patient base to the home, CDPH and the Dental Board recommended emergency-only care, and county orders (San Bernardino Apr. 6, 2020; Bay Area; Los Angeles) imposed facility conditions. Cal/OSHA's ETS (Nov. 30, 2020; readopted June 17, 2021) bound dental employers.
