Operative words

s. 2. Pending eviction proceedings. Any eviction proceeding pending on the effective date of this act, including eviction proceedings filed on or before March 7, 2020, or commenced within thirty days of the effective date of this act shall be stayed for at least sixty days... [Hardship declaration:] if you provide this form to your landlord, you cannot be evicted until at least May 1, 2021
