Kentucky: 'November 23, 2020: All K-12 public and private schools statewide had to stop in-person classes. Middle and high school instruction were scheduled to remain remote through at least Jan. 4.' Michigan: 'November 18, 2020: Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) announced a three-week ban on in-person high school and college instruction across the state beginning Nov. 18.' New Mexico: 'January 4, 2021: Schools in New Mexico were required to close in-person instruction through Jan. 15.'
