2020: Not opened for the 2020 season (announced July 7, 2020): 'With a heavy heart, we are announcing that the State Fair of Texas will not open for the 2020 season... we have decided to keep our guests, staff, and partners safe and healthy during these uncertain time.'. 2021: Held Sept. 24 - Oct. 17, 2021, opening in the last week of 2021 Q3 under Dallas County's face-mask order of Aug. 16, 2021 (then in litigation, Abbott v. Jenkins) and the CDC conveyance order. Usual dates: 24 days from late September (Sept. 25 - Oct. 18, 2020 scheduled; Sept. 24 - Oct. 17, 2021). Scale: not stated in the exhibit.
