2020: Cancelled by the City of Austin on March 6, 2020: 'The City of Austin has cancelled the March dates for SXSW and SXSW EDU. SXSW will faithfully follow the City's directions' (organizer's event update, Ex. SEC-21-GM-026), with Travis County's disaster declaration of the same day (Ex. MET-AUS-035) and the City's and County's orders of March 14-24 (Exs. MET-AUS-036, -001, -002, -003). 2021: Held entirely online March 16-20, 2021 (Wikipedia), while Texas GA-34 (March 2, 2021) had just lifted the State's capacity limits (Ex. TX-029) and Austin's own orders were in litigation. Usual dates: March; 2020 edition March 13-22, 2020. Scale: Not sourced in this session.
