2020: Association record (context): NIVA organized the shuttered independent venues from April 2020 and campaigned for the Save Our Stages Act, enacted as the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant program (15 U.S.C. § 9009a, Ex. SEC-17-001), in which Congress described the class 'live venue operator or promoter, theatrical producer, or live performing arts organization operator... or a talent representative.'. 2021: Shuttered Venue Operators Grants opened April 2021 (context; Ex.
