2020: Closed Mar. 11, 2020, mid-run, when the Mayor and County Judge declared a public health emergency and closed the Rodeo (Ex. MET-HOU-044); junior market auctions moved online (organizer releases of Mar. 9 and 18, 2020). 2021: Rescheduled from March to May 4-23, 2021, then cancelled Feb. 3, 2021; 'The Junior Livestock and Horse Show competitions will still be held in March, as private events'; the junior market auctions held in May as private events, 'following all state and local health and safety guidelines'.
