Operative words

Effective Sunday, March 15th, all regularly scheduled Chicago Park District programs will be suspended until further notice. In the meantime, we will evaluate the need to suspend Spring 2020 programs which are scheduled to begin March 30th. In the event the District must cancel Spring 2020 programs, registration fees will be credited for future use.... The following 18 park locations will provide enhanced programming while Chicago schools are closed.

The largest municipal park system in the country (about 600 parks). The District's later lakefront closure (Mar. 26, 2020) was ordered by the Mayor.
