Operative words

[WDFW announced] its decision to temporarily close [recreational fishing and shellfish harvesting statewide]. The closures will begin at midnight Wednesday, March 25 and last until at least 5 p.m. on April 8, 2020. WDFW will re-evaluate on April 6 whether the closure may [be lifted].... WDFW and other state agencies previously closed all of their water access sites, including boat [ramps].... WDFW Enforcement officers remain on duty and will be enforcing these new closures.

Enforcement

RCW 77.15 (fish and wildlife offenses; unlawful recreational fishing) enforced by WDFW Police; recited: 'WDFW Enforcement officers... will be enforcing these new closures'

Notes

Statewide closure of a whole outdoor-recreation industry's product for six weeks; the paradigm agency order limiting commerce.

Retrieval note

The WAC emergency-rule filing (WSR) was not separately retrieved; the agency's notice of the rule and its dates was read in full.
