Operative words

Bridges are open.... Cashless tolling only. Effective 6 a.m. Thursday, 3/26, DRPA will implement cashless tolling at our bridges during the COVID-19 pandemic. All motorists (E-ZPass & Cash) will be directed to drive through E-ZPass lanes.... Transportation is considered an essential service under the stay-at-home orders and we are maintaining operations to ensure the continuity of service. As a reminder, most people should be staying at home and travel only for essential trips... No toll collectors will be present nor will cash be accepted in any lane. For vehicles without E-ZPass, toll invoices will be sent to registered vehicle owners via USPS mail.

Enforcement

Toll-by-mail invoice at the cash rate; administrative fees on second notice (Ex. 009); DRPA Police

Notes

Binding operating rule of a compact authority on every user of four interstate bridges; also a contemporaneous recital, by the authority, of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey stay-at-home orders operating on interstate travel.
