Operative words

I hereby extend the 'Safer Apart' health order by incorporating the attached 'Order of the State Health Officer...' signed today by the State Health Officer, into this proclamation as if fully set forth herein.... Under the current extension, the public health emergency is set to expire May 7, 2021. Due to the continuing impact of COVID-19, conditions of disaster or extreme peril to the safety of persons and property continue to exist within the State of Alabama. Therefore, I hereby extend the emergency initially proclaimed on March 13, 2020, by an additional sixty days from May 7, 2021, until July 6, 2021.

Notes

The Governor's May 3, 2021 release stated that the public health order would end May 31 and the state of emergency July 6, 2021 (governor.alabama.gov/newsroom/2021/05/governor-ivey-announces-covid-19-public-health-order-and-state-of-emergency-to-end/).
