The standing L&I core rules, in the imperative 'You must', requiring every employer to provide a workplace free from recognized hazards, to establish and enforce effective safety rules, and to protect employees from biological agents; DOSH Directive 1.70 lists WAC 296-800-11045 (2020) and 296-800-11005 (2021) as the rules under which COVID-19 prevention was inspected and cited.
