Operative words

A) All individuals in the State of Louisiana are recommended to wear a face covering over the nose and mouth when indoors in any place outside of a private residence... D) Subject to the exemptions in Subsection (C) above, all students in K-12 schools in Louisiana shall be required to wear face coverings over the nose and mouth. However, an LEA or school district or non-public school may affirmatively opt out of this mandate only if the LEA or school district or non-public school adopts an isolation and quarantine policy for students, faculty, and staff consistent with the protocols set by the Louisiana Department of Health
