Operative words
WHEREAS, CDPH reports... 741 cases per 100,000... seven times the level of 100 cases per 100,000 that constitutes 'high community transmission'... WHEREAS, the emergency departments at Wellstar Kennestone and Wellstar Cobb... remain severely overcrowded... IT IS HEREBY DECLARED that the Declaration of Emergency... is renewed for thirty days... 2. All Cobb residents, including those who are fully vaccinated, are strongly encouraged to wear masks indoors in public places... all enclosed businesses in the County are, once again, strongly encouraged to re-implement measures requiring masks indoors for the protection of employees and customers. 3. [County boards may meet by teleconference under O.C.G.A. § 50-14-1.] 4. The remaining terms of the August 19, 2021 Declaration of Emergency are hereby adopted by reference. 5. All provisions of this renewal shall become effective upon signature and shall terminate on October 17, 2021, at 11:59 p.m., unless renewed again by the Chairwoman.
