Operative words

On March 24, 2020, at the direction of Governor Tony Evers, the Secretary-designee of the Wisconsin Department of Health Services issued Emergency Order #12, SAFER AT HOME ORDER, a copy of which is attached hereto and fully incorporated herein. That Order is effective at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 and will remain in effect until 8:00 a.m. on Friday, April 24, 2020, or until a superseding order is issued.

Enforcement

Crime punishable by fine, imprisonment, or both (Wis. Stats. §§ 252.03 & 252.25) and a violation of Dane County Ordinance § 46.25(1) and Madison General Ordinance § 7.05(6) punishable by forfeiture (recited)

Gives the statewide Safer at Home order a second, local legal footing with county and city forfeiture enforcement.
