Operative words
In order to be as prepared as possible to address the potential of future coronavirus (COVID-19) incidents in Clackamas County, earlier today, March 2, the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners declared a state of emergency. The Board did not declare a 'public health emergency.'... Further, the declaration will give county officials the power to: Commit to mutual aid agreements, Redirect funds for emergency use, and Order such other measures as are found to be immediately necessary for the protection of life and/or property.... This declaration of emergency shall expire two weeks from today, Monday, March 16.
