Operative words
WHEREAS, expanding allowable outdoor activities to allow for social distancing is [necessary]... [through] a sidewalk extension and the establishment of pedestrian plazas... Section 2. That the following temporary additions are made to San Diego Municipal [Code:] A sidewalk extension for purposes of this Ordinance means an outdoor space [for fitness centers and instructional studios as defined] in Municipal Code section 131.0112(a)(6)(F); personal services as defined in Municipal Code section 131.0112(a)(6)(I); massage establishments as defined in Municipal Code section 33.3502; and places of religious assembly.
