Operative words

Effective immediately, all individuals who tested positive for COVID-19 ('infected individual') are ordered to self-isolate in their place of residence, as directed by order of the State Health Officer.... Individuals under a self-isolation or self-quarantine order may only leave their place of residence with prior approval, or at the direction, of the Department of Health.

N.D.C.C. § 37-17.1-05(2); State Health Officer orders carry N.D.C.C. § 23-07.6-02(3) and § 23-07-21(1) penalties
