Operative words

Effective immediately, all individuals who tested positive for COVID-19 ('infected individual') are ordered to self-quarantine in their place of residence, for a period of fourteen days or as directed by order of the State Health Officer. Effective immediately, all family and household members residing with the infected individual and identified by the North Dakota Department of Health as a contact of an infected individual are ordered to self-quarantine in their place of residence, for a period of fourteen days... Individuals under a self-quarantine order may only leave their place of residence with prior approval from the Department of Health.

Notes

Every employer's workforce was subject to this order and to the State Health Officer's confinement orders (Exs. ND-022, ND-026, ND-057, ND-060).
