2020: The July 28-29, 2020 examination postponed to Sept. 9-10 or replaced by a remote October 5-6, 2020 administration in most jurisdictions; the District of Columbia Court of Appeals ordered on Apr. 10, 2020 that it "will not administer the July 2020 Bar Exam" and on May 4 rescheduled the UBE to Sept. 9-10 for "pandemic-related conditions"; the Supreme Court of Texas cancelled the July 2020 in-person examination; Hawaii ordered provisional admission without the written examination (July 22, 2020); Washington accepted October 2020 remote scores ABA Board of Governors resolution of Apr. 7, 2020 urging "state licensing authorities to immediately adopt emergency rules that would authorize 2019 and 2020 law graduates who cannot take a bar exam because of the pandemic to engage in a limited practice of law under certain circumstances" (Ex. SEC-12-GM-133, P). 2021: February 2021 examinations administered remotely in most jurisdictions (AGY-ST-TRADE-BOARDS-063); July 2021 administrations under the courts' announcements (AGY-ST-TRADE-BOARDS-062).
