Notes
2020: In-person examinations and classroom courses stopped under the stay-home and closure orders of March 2020 (test centers were not 'essential' under the State lists; classroom instruction closed with schools and non-essential premises); the Pearson VUE-owned U.S. test centers closed Mar. 17, 2020: 'Due to increasing concern for the health and safety of our candidates and our employees and in response to government guidance... we are temporarily closing our U.S.-based Pearson VUE-owned and operated Pearson Professional Centers (PPCs) starting Tuesday, March 17... Candidates can reschedule their exams for appointments starting April 16 and beyond if conditions allow' (Ex. SEC-17-GM-062, coronavirus-update page as captured Mar. 20, 2020; the U.S. paragraph is partly overlaid by a cookie banner in the render and is quoted from its legible text); the vendor's page also stated that it would 'make decisions about test center operations in accordance with government and local authorities'; the SEC-14 file carries the Texas Real Estate Commission's account of the same vendor's reduced-capacity reopening (Ex. SEC-14-GM-009). 2021: Test centers operated under State and local mask and capacity orders through Q3 2021; classroom continuing education under the same venue caps as classes (row C-01).
