Operative words
Elevate: The 2020 ANCOR Annual Conference, will not proceed in Miami at the end of April as planned... the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention recommended discontinuing all mass gatherings of 50 or more people... the City of Miami issued an order placing limitations on gatherings of 250 or more people... we cannot proceed as planned [without putting] members of the ANCOR community at risk of exposure to the coronavirus.

2020: Cancelled in Miami; replaced by a free virtual conference held April 27-30, 2020. 2021: Held virtually June 14-16, 2021 (see row 2). Usual dates: Late April annually; 2020 scheduled in Miami 'at the end of April'. Scale: 'With 600+ participants each year' (organizer's 2021 event page); the 2020 virtual replacement drew 'over 1,000 participants over the course of the week'.
