Operative words
The Board expects all licensees to continue to review and utilize its best efforts to comply with the Guidance on Preparing Workplaces for COVID-19, published by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.... Ensure that an Infectious Disease Outbreak Response Plan, as described in the CDC's Interim Guidance, is in place.
Enforcement
Issued 'in furtherance of the Board's legislatively declared policy to protect the public health, safety, and general welfare where all gaming is conducted' (NRS 463.0129); licensee compliance with Board notices enforced through NGC Reg. 5.011 and NRS 463.310 disciplinary proceedings
Notes
First of the Board's COVID-19 notices; precedes the Mar. 16 operating restrictions (Ex. NV-047) and the Mar. 17 statewide suspension of gaming (Ex. NV-048; Directive 002, Ex. NV-003).
Retrieval noteExpectation notice, not a closure; included because it opens the Board's COVID series and states the statutory policy the later notices enforce. Cite it as context and cite the underlying order, statute or emergency rule it describes as the instrument. (Bulletins whose operative text imposes a mandatory duty on licensees under the regulator's own authority are excluded from this downgrade and listed separately for review.)).
