The Declaration of a Local State of Emergency has been extended every week since March 12, 2020.... I am presenting this affidavit in compliance with Ordinance No. 20-87, as was done on September 23, October 9, October 23, November 6, November 18, December 4, December 16, and December 30, 2020, and January 13, January 27, February 10, February 24, March 10, March 24, April 8, April 21, May 5, May 19, June 2, June 16, June 30, July 14, and July 28, 2021... As of August 5, 2021, more than 2,725,400 resident cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Florida, including more than 562,100 in Miami-Dade County. Due to the continued threat posed by COVID-19, I believe the Declaration of a Local State of Emergency must be extended...
