Operative words
The Capital Area Transit System (CATS) will resume fare collection on Sunday, May 16th. The agency began waiving fares in April 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. CATS has installed operator barriers in all vehicles and has taken precautions to ensure the continued safety of both its customers and operators.
Enforcement
Operational directive of the transit authority
Notes
Proves the thirteen-month fare suspension and operator-barrier retrofit by their termination; CATS also required face masks on all vehicles (agency alert, 2020) and hosted the parish mask order (Ex. 073).
