Operative words

All students in kindergarten to 12th grade will be required to wear a mask in the school setting, and all children and staff will be required to wear masks when traveling on school busses. Additionally, EBRPSS will begin to offer free, periodic COVID-19 testing to staff and students, with parental consent.

Notes

The parish school system (about 40,000 students) had shifted to all-virtual instruction for the start of 2020-21 (July 2020 release) and returned under masking and quarantine rules in 2021-22.
