Operative words
Mayor Ted Wheeler extended the Declaration of a State of Emergency in the City of Portland for two additional weeks. With today's action, the State of Emergency remains in effect through 8 a.m. Thursday, April 9, 2020. The original Emergency Declaration, enacted on March 12 and set to expire at 8 a.m. on March 26, states the duration of the declaration shall be limited to two weeks but may be extended in two-week increments as the pandemic continues.
