Operative words
any person who violates any law administered by the director or any rule or regulation adopted pursuant to authority granted to the director shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not more than one hundred dollars ($100) or by imprisonment for not more than thirty (30) days, or both, and for violation of a compliance order of the director by a fine of not more than three hundred dollars ($300) or by imprisonment for not more than ninety (90) days, or both

What it required
Violation of any rule of the Director of Health, including 216-RICR-50-15-7, is a crime; violation of a compliance order carries ninety days; 'each day's failure to comply with any such law, rule, regulation, or order shall constitute a separate offense.'
