What a day on this calendar holds

Each day lists the instruments in the Library that carry that issue date: orders, emergency declarations, standing statutes enacted that day, organizer notices and the legal authorities. The count under the day number is the whole day; the six shown are the federal and State instruments first, then counties, cities and the rest. Open the day to see all of them with their limitation types, quarters and exhibits.

An order often took effect a day or more after it was issued, so the day it was issued is not always the first day it was in force. For the days an order was in force, use the orders clock; for a State's instruments in a quarter, use the Library or the Eligibility Report.

March 13 to 31, 2020

Wages paid after March 12, 2020 belong to the second quarter of 2020, so the orders of March 13 to 31, 2020 are part of that quarter's record even though the calendar places them in the first.
